Preparing for the ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineering (CTAL-TAE) v2.0 exam? This course gives you 6 full-length practice exams with 240 original questions, built to match the official exam structure, so you know exactly where you stand before exam day.

Each exam follows the official blueprint: 40 questions covering every learning objective, with the same mix of K2, K3 and K4 questions as the real exam. Every answer option has its own explanation, so you learn why the right answer is right and why each wrong answer is wrong. Each question also shows its syllabus reference.

What the exams cover:

Introduction and preparation: advantages and limits of automation, automation in different SDLCs, tool selection, testability and test environments
Test automation architecture: the gTAA, TAF layers, capture/playback, linear and structured scripting, TDD, data-driven, keyword-driven and BDD, design patterns such as page objects and the flow model
Implementing and deploying automation: pilots, deployment risks, logging levels, maintainability, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management and contract testing
Reporting and metrics: data collection, log analysis and test progress reports
Verifying the solution: environment and tool setup, test suite correctness, unexpected results and static analysis
Continuous improvement: test histograms, schema validation, wait mechanisms and restructuring testware

Many questions are realistic scenarios, so you practice the analysis questions (K3 and K4) that carry the most points in the real exam.

About scoring: the real CTAL-TAE exam weights questions by K-level (66 points in total, 43 needed to pass, which is 65%). Udemy scores every question equally, so aim for 75% or more in these practice tests before booking your exam.

All questions are original and written from the public CTAL-TAE v2.0 syllabus. No official exam questions are copied.
