This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

AI Productivity & Automation with ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot

Artificial intelligence can help professionals create content, analyse information, improve communication, and manage repetitive tasks. The key is knowing which tool to use, how to guide it, and how to review its output responsibly.

In this course, you will explore how ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can complement each other in a modern professional workflow. You will learn how to select suitable AI tools for different tasks, work with Microsoft 365 applications, organise information, and plan practical AI-assisted workflows.

What you will explore

The modern AI workspace: Understand the different roles of ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, navigate their interfaces, and consider privacy and security when working with AI.
Microsoft 365 productivity: Explore AI-assisted drafting, summarisation, and editing in Word; presentation creation in PowerPoint; email management in Outlook; and note organisation in OneNote.
Data analysis: Learn about analysing spreadsheet trends, generating and debugging formulas, cleaning data, and selecting appropriate visualisations.
Workflow automation: Explore repetitive-task automation, process logic, Power Automate, custom GPTs, and AI assistants for routine professional work.
Professional communication: Practise adapting tone and style, preparing proposals and business reports, developing speaking content, and overcoming writer's block.
Virtual meetings: Explore meeting preparation, agenda creation, meeting support, summaries, action items, and task accountability.
Strategic AI implementation: Consider AI fatigue, information overload, continuous learning, personal productivity planning, and future AI automation trends.

What practical value can you gain?

You will develop a framework for selecting AI tools according to the task, preparing clearer instructions, reviewing AI-generated content, and identifying opportunities to improve everyday work. The course emphasises that AI should support professional expertise rather than replace human judgment.

Who should take this course?

This course is intended for professionals, office workers, managers, project coordinators, business teams, and other learners interested in using ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to support writing, analysis, communication, meetings, and routine workflows.

You will also explore why responsible information handling, output verification, and human oversight matter when integrating AI into professional activities.

Downloadable worksheets and practical templates accompany the course, helping you plan AI workflows, review outputs, organise meeting actions, and develop your own AI Productivity Playbook.

Begin building a more deliberate approach to AI-assisted work by learning when to use the right tool, how to review its output, and where human expertise remains essential.
